Everything You Need to Know

What age should my baby be?
We photograph babies from newborn up to 12 months. Every age is beautiful — tiny newborns, smiling 3-month-olds, sitting-up 6-month-olds, and adventurous crawlers. There's no wrong time!
Is the session really free?
Yes! The photography session and one printed portrait (valued at £75) are completely free. If you'd like to purchase additional prints, digital images, or wall products after seeing your photos, you can — but there is absolutely no obligation. Many families are happy with their free print.
Can I bring siblings or family members?
Absolutely! Siblings, parents, and even grandparents are welcome. Some of our most beautiful images are of brothers and sisters together. The more the merrier.
What if my baby is unsettled?
We're very experienced with babies of all temperaments. We allow plenty of time for feeds, nappy changes, and cuddles. If your little one really isn't having it, we'll happily reschedule at no cost.
Where is the studio?
We're at 131 Soho Hill, Birmingham B19 1AT — less than 2 miles from the city centre. Free parking is available right outside the studio — you can drive straight to our door. Parking is at your own risk.
How long does the session take?
The photography session itself is about 1 hour — we never rush. After the shoot, we'll prepare your images and you'll enjoy a personal viewing to choose your free print. The whole visit is usually about 2 hours. We'll have barista-style coffee and tea waiting for you!
What should my baby wear?
Please bring 2 well-fitted outfits for your baby — this gives us lovely variety during the session. We also have a selection of wraps and outfits in the studio. Parents, we'd recommend wearing something that coordinates with your baby's outfit, as we often capture some gorgeous family shots too. Simple, neutral colours photograph beautifully.
